I have developed two spreadsheets that help IFAs to financially plan for their clients.
Firstly, I have a spreadsheet for Lifetime Planning that allows the IFA to enter an unlimited number of categories of income or expenditure, which then calculates the financial position of the client up to and through retirement, to enable them to make informed decisions about the future.
My second offering is specifically aimed at choosing the correct financial vehicle for care home retirement. Simply enter the 'pot' of money available and the estimated care home costs, and the spreadsheet compares spending the pot directly on care costs, with buying an annuity. The 'break-even' point is shown both in figures and graphically.
